Buyers benefit from a greater selection and lower prices.

Due to increasing foreclosure activity, tighter lending guidelines and soft demand, buyers have more to choose from at lower prices. Most lenders will realistically set the prices for their REO inventory at or below what the most recent comparable homes have sold for within the immediate area.
